Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR is looking for a Project Controls Sr. Scheduler to join their nationally rank growing team of power professionals in Ann Arbor, Michigan.In the position of Project Controls Sr. Scheduler we will count on you to develop and implement project control processes and procedures on projects including progress and performance measurement. This position is intended to allow the employee to utilize their project controls skills on a variety of projects including developing estimates, schedules, progress reports, presenting reports to clients, meeting with clients, interfacing schedules with other schedules, and analyzing critical paths for forecasting schedule status. Other responsibilities include:•Assist the Project Manager with planning and monitoring all aspects of major power, water, transportation or industrial projects, with high energy and great attention to detail•Prepare base schedules, schedule reviews, monthly schedule update analysis, time impact analysis, and investigation and analysis of schedule impacts•Monitor and document construction progress•Monitor, review and report to the Project Manager and/or clients on the status of schedules with regard to construction contract schedule compliance with the construction contract specifications, and review and provide written summary progress reports stating acceptability or unacceptability of the schedules•Capabilities will also include development estimates, cash flows, productivity analysis, and construction indirect costs•Schedules will be developed for Engineering Procurement and or Construction projects.•Review schedules and evaluate in detail to provide clients with a quality evaluation of the project status from a schedule point of view.•Develops integrated schedules, logic analysis, and coordinates progress updates from multiple sources.•Maintains an awareness of current market conditions and lead times that could impact costs and schedules•Evaluate schedules and estimates for clients.•Develop, update and monitor schedules.•Lead discussions and present status on schedules and estimates.•Develops basic detailed reviewable estimates for reports and studies.•Interfaces with engineering to gather and verify design information.•Perform other duties as neededQualificationsRequired Qualifications•Preferred educational experience is a BA/BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering/Management or equivalent•10 years of relevant experi
