Project Coordinator / Documentation Specialist Job Description


This position will be a combination of project coordinator and documentation specialist. This positions main responsibility will be vehicle and component management as well as supporting the project team. By nature of our work (certification testing), all steps need to be efficiently managed and accurately documented.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute process for vehicle setup documentation (Software and Hardware levels)

  • Manages and tracks vehicles as well as critical components

  • Coordinates vehicle preparation for agency testing

  • Performs and processes vehicle readouts


  • Verbal and written communication skills

  • Organized and structured work ethics

  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time

  • Coordinating work with internal and external vendors

  • Create work instructions


  • Automotive experience preferred

  • Ability to use vehicle diagnostic tools for readouts (optional)

  • Some experience / knowledge about coding of macros or simple automation (optional)

  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience troubleshooting problems and escalating to management when necessary

  • Must be open to taking on tasks that may arise outside of the basic job description.

  • Must be open to completing both project management tasks and administrative tasks.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized
