Itacirc;euro;trade;s a great place to work and grow your career.span class="bold"Structural Designer/Project Engineer - emDetroit, MI; East Lansing, MI/em/spanspan class="bold"The Impact You Will Have:/spanulliPerforming analysis of project elements/liliPerforming load development and designing calculations of project elements and back checking work/liliPreparing neat and organized structural calculations/liliDesigning and drafting structural elements and details/liliDeveloping task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner/liliPerforming tasks on schedule and within budget as assigned/liliWorking independently under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/li/ulspan class="bold"What You Will Need:/spanulliM.S. in Structural Engineering degree or related required/liliMinimum two (2) years of structural transportation design experience desired/liliMichigan PE licensure preferred but not required/liliFamiliarity with MDOT Bridge Design Guides/Manuals and AASHTO LRFD Specifications/liliBuilding/bridge construction knowledge/liliKnowledge of applicable codes and standards/liliKnowledge of general-purpose structural analysis programs/liliIntermediate ability and understanding of AutoCAD/liliExperience with Microstation or similar program desired/liliDemonstrate competent use of Microsoft Office products/liliExcellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.)/liliExcellent organizational skills/li/ulAlfred Benes
