WSP is currently initiating a search for an Entry Level Civil Engineer for our Lansing, MI office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support design teams in the execution of projects;

  • Provide technical support in various stages of project, including preliminary design, final design and contract documentation including cost estimates and specifications;

  • Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues during design;

  • Maintaining positive team relationships;

  • Assist and coordinate with key staff across disciplines (i.e. drainage, structures) as required

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from accredited university

  • Hands-on experience with roadway design software such as Microstation or Autocad

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • The selected candidate must be able to work in the United States immediately

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate

  • Working knowledge of Geopak software

  • Experience with roadway design through interships;

  • Team leadership skills
