The Remodel Installer initiates and completes kitchen and bathroom remodel projects as outlined by the sales team and/or formalized work order. Aspects of each project will vary in tasks performed and overall scope of work. Variations can range from projects taking days to weeks to complete. Work will be performed mostly in single-family residences.
Show up on time ready to discuss and/or confirm the day’s agenda.
Gather materials and get to jobsite as efficiently as possible.
Follow work order guidelines from start to finish. Seek any work order clarification from project salesperson.
Display effective communication skills between self and customer.
As needed this job may require material acquisition from various vendors prior to a job starting or during a work in progress.
Communicate effective daily progress to the Project Coordinator or department manager. This includes maintaining open communication throughout the day as necessary for scheduling purposes.
Interacts with job sub contractors delivering job specifications.
Completion of time cards, material sheets and turning in shipping tickets.
Accurately report time worked.
Be prepared to be dispatched in a timely fashion each day in uniform, clean shaven with the necessary personal tools.
Attend department meetings and training sessions.
Cooperate with all department personnel.
Demonstrate core values of the company with every customer to generate referrals and PR.
Maintain all company provided tools in a professional manner.
Maintain an acceptable truck inventory.
Abide by all traffic laws while driving a company vehicle.
Always work in a safe, professional manner.
Assist in training subordinates as necessary.
Work as directed by supervising staff or salesperson.
Make the best use of your time while on the job.
Abide by the guidelines set forth in the company personnel manual.
HS diploma or equivalent Required
5+ Years remodeling and carpentry skills of a nature specific to the work being performed is required.
Background in remodeling and or construction related fields is required.
Working knowledge of light duty power tools and hand tools.
Work will be done mostly in a single-family residences, using a company provided vehicle to commute to and from jobsite and other required stopping points. Must bend, reach, stoop or kneel in routine remodel environment. Requires normal hand and eye coordination, vision and color perception. Lifting up to 150 lbs.
Typical work week is M-F 7:30 am – 4:00 pm with two 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch break. Occasional overtime and Saturday work available.
