Position Summary and Responsibilities

Performs as a lead plumber on project work. Daily interaction with multiple skilled trades. Run projects from start to finish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to determine specifications for installations.

• Assist researchers in design and engineering of new process systems

• Manage multiple trade jobs until completed

• Install, bend gas tubing for new process systems

• Install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures

• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe

• Must be able to maintain work logs

• Performs routine maintenance.

• Makes periodic inspections of systems for safe and efficient operation

• May supervise others on major installations and job repairs.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Skilled journeyman with 5-7 years of related experience

Other Qualifications: Valid driver’s license.
