What you will do for Siemens Energy Performance Services:

This position requires the coordination and implementation of facility improvement measures at customer sites. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing vendors and subcontractors and maintaining communication with customers. The Project Manager has responsibilities of all financial aspects of the projects and will be expected to complete timely and accurate forecasting and billing.

Responsibilities:

  • Support engineering and sales team in development of new projects.

  • Participate in customer presentations and support sales in customer interviews.

  • Draft project scope and solicit bids from vendors and subcontractors.

  • Understand and execute contracts with vendors and subcontractors.

  • Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with project stakeholders and customer requirements.

  • Perform accurate cost reviews and complete monthly financial forecasting and reporting.

  • Track resources and project progress.

  • Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.

  • Update Performance Assurance team with regular project status.

  • Complete schedule of values for project and monthly invoicing.

  • Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation.

  • Maintain customer update meetings and minutes appropriately.

  • Complete project-specific close-out documentation.

  • Support engineering and sales team in development of new projects.

Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.

Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum Associate degree; Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Project management experience in mechanical and electrical building installations.

  • Knowledge and understanding of HVAC industry applications; ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams

  • Knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet

  • Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
