As a software subcontractor manager, you will be working in a team to manage major software suppliers for several automotive infotainment projects. This includes defining delivery content and processes with engineers, aligning delivery timelines and supporting purchasing regarding commercial details. In addition, you will be responsible for tracking deliveries of the supplier and ensuring quality of deliveries from the suppliers, where your broad technical knowhow will enable you to also discuss technical terms with the supplier. You will create reports for the management and work on mitigation strategies with your suppliers in case of any deviation.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, with a demonstrated understanding of supplier management
2+ years of experience directly managing software subcontractors
Experience in managing development teams and / or suppliers
Experience in SW development, architecture and issue analysis
Experience with automotive software development processes (ASPICE, SAFe, …)
Excellent written and oral communication
Good negotiation skills
Experience with requirements management and tracking
Experience with understanding of legal/contractual documents
Experience with RTC, DOORS, MS Project and MS Office
